On 25 October 2017, I conducted a seminar on ‘How to Avoid Real Property Losses: Legal Risks That Can Be Eliminated or Minimized’. I want to express my deepest thanks to the French-Polish Chamber of Commerce for organizing it.
The seminar was devoted to methods for minimizing or eliminating negative consequences that property owners may face as a result of changes to the study of conditions and directions of spatial development of a municipality or to the local area development plan, decision concerning the permission to carry out a road infrastructure investment – ‘ZRID’, adjustment of the amount of the perpetual usufruct fee, entry of the property to the register of historic monuments or the local government’s register of historic monuments.
The seminar not only gave the participants the opportunity to learn how to timely identify situations that might lead to a reduction of the value of a real property or which may restrict the prospects for its sale, but it was also an chance for them to share their mutual experiences.
The seminar was attended by representatives of various companies, including PKO TFI, PZU TFI, SKANSKA, B&B hotel chain, UNIBAIL RODAMCO, EIFFAGE, FIBAT, and FONDO.
